Teaching American History

Jeffry Wert earned his M.A. in history at Pennsylvania State University and his B.A. in history, cum laude at Lock Haven University. Mr. Wert is a history teacher at Penns Valley Area High School in Spring Mills, Pennsylvania. He has written numerous articles and books on the Civil War including, Mosby's Rangers, A Brotherhood of Valor, and Gettysburg: Day Three. He has won several awards including the Alan Nolan - Iron Brigade Award in 2000.
