Deborah Hargroves

Deborah Hargroves assists Savannah's Teaching American History Grant Program with technology support. Her work with the TAH website provides worldwide access to the many valuable teaching tools and resources created by our team of educators and historians.
Ms. Hargroves serves as the educational liaison and judging coordinator for the International Student Media Festival and as an Adobe Education Leader.

Judy Newsome

Judy Newsome serves as the Teaching American History Middle/Secondary Grant Content Coach. She received her Bachelors degree in history and teacher certification from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She also received her Masters in Middle Grades education from Armstrong as well. Ms. Newsome taught in the Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools for 31 years. Her responsibilities include teaching workshops and mentoring teachers.
